Use Live Trap to Capture Flying Squirrel
When buying a squirrel trap, it is important to make sure you buy a sizeable trap that will help in trapping the flying squirrel. You will find different sizes in the market, but I would suggest you go for the medium sized one or the large one if you can afford. Further, it is important to make sure the trap is made from strong wire so that the squirrel will not be able to eat the wires and escape. Therefore, locate the entry point of the squirrel and place the trap strategically at the entry point. You need to do this while the squirrels are away. You can place diet bait inside the trap so as to make sure the squirrel will be trapped easily. Further, make sure the trap is correctly placed depending on the instructions of the trap manufacturer.

Once the trap has worked, you need to relocate the squirrel far away, or it will just find its way back into your attic. It is advisable that you release it 5-7 miles away from your home so that it doesn’t find its way back. After trapping the squirrel, you need to also consider what could be attracting them to your home and make sure you take it away.
